Nickel Pig Iron - Malachite Consulting is currently providing engineering design services for nickel pig iron projects,  including conceptual design through to Front-end Engineering Design (FEED).

Projects typically involve examining various options for smelting of nickel laterites, such as Nickel Pig Iron (NPI) and Ferronickel (FeNi) smelting. On completion of the preliminary engineering and projects economics, the preferred smelting route would be selected for further engineering.

Front-end Engineering Design (FEED) is typically undertaken in three Front-end Loading (FEL) stages. For each FEL stage, typical deliverables are listed below:
